This three-day course introduces the student to the script editor and data modeling highlighting Qlik’s associative logic that has made Qlik Sense one of the premier business analytics tools on the market!
Students will be immersed in the Qlik development environment through hands-on exercises that will strengthen the students understanding of the concepts. Students will learn how to import data from various sources and construct a data model. The student will also learn how to troubleshoot common data modeling issues in multiple ways. The course also introduces the student to the Qlik Management Console and touches on the relationship between server administrators and developers within the Qlik Sense platform.

While the course will discuss development fundamentals in general, as well as some user interface applications and server administration concepts, the course will focus on the script editting capabilities of Qlik Sense and datamodeling within the Qlik platform.
Each day will run approximately 6 – 8 hours daily, depending on size and skill level of the class as a whole. The student will need to have QlikView 11 downloaded on their personal machines prior to the first day of the course. Materials used in class for exercises will be provided at the beginning of the first day of class.
